My job is dreadfully tiring but I do enjoy it and especially love how much it inspires and informs my art.

This little baby raspberry shoot caught my eye today (before I had to brutally destroy it…sorry nature). Such beautiful colours on such a tiny leaf barely 1cm wide. I want to be lost within those colours and delicate leaf patterns. The thought of stepping back into abstract painting again excites.
